A small device, fitted to your vehicle or asset.
A GPS tracker is typically a matchbox-sized device. Depending on the type, it's either hardwired into your vehicle's electrics, plugged into the OBD port, or attached magnetically. It requires no action from you once it's in place.
GPS satellites pinpoint the location — accurate to 3 metres.
The tracker communicates with GPS satellites to determine its precise position. It then transmits that location data over the UK's 4G mobile network to a secure server — typically every 5 to 60 seconds, depending on the tracker specification.
You see it on your phone. Live. Anywhere.
The location data is displayed on a map in the Travio app or web platform — in real time. You can set geofence zones, receive movement alerts, review journey history, and access driver behaviour reports. All from your phone, wherever you are.
